So everybody asks where do I eat, stay , shop... Where do the locals love. So here is random list of things and places I love in Florence. Completly personal and ever changing.
Good Eats
(this least could be exhaustive so I change it all the time!)
The gelateria at Pointe Carraia -
Theatro Del Sale -
Cafe Pitti -
Hemingway -
Ora D’Aria -
Fagoli -
Good Sleep
Florence has a ton to offer in this area but for a good value for money in the center I like the Bargello B & B Run by Canadian born Gabriella it’s got great customer service and it’s within walking distance of everything. Beautiful veiws from the rooftop terrace as well. The climb up the stairs is worth the walk.
Shopping
Forget the outlets and shop to your hearts content in the Artisian center of Oltrano
just over the Pointe Vecchio. Here you can see artisians at work in their workshops
and pick up one of a kind designer keepsakes. My personal 2 favorite shops in the
area: Casini-
